Job description

VOLUNTEER FOR SCHOOL OR EXTENDED DAY POSITION
UNPAID POSITION
Volunteers are always needed and appreciated at any of our schools. Volunteer assignments may be in classroom, library, office or after school sports.  



Applicant must provide 3 personal references (not family members) and also indicate at which school site you want to volunteer. 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Anyone who is not a parent or guardian of student(s) in our schools must obtain a background check or a fingerprint card through Arizona Department of Public Safety 

This part of the process can take as long as to 8-10 weeks.  If you have a valid Level One IVPP Fingerprint Clearance Card you may be able to start sooner.
Instructions for this part of the process will be provided by Human Resources
Steps necessary to become a volunteer with CFSD:

  • volunteer application submission
  • application review by the school Principal
  • reference checks by the school
  • criminal background check/fingerprinting
  • Governing Board approval
  • Paperwork completion to receive an ID badge

NOTE:  School principals have the right to limit the number of volunteers and/or visitors on school campus at any time?.
