Position Summary

We are looking for a social media aficionado to join our team as our Social Media & Content Intern reporting directly to the Senior Social Strategist. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in social media or marketing for a lifestyle brand, is an expert communicator, and passionate about connecting with our highly engaged, beauty-loving audience. This hire will be integral in shaping the voice of our content channels over the 12 week summer internship period.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Social Media and Content teams to assist with content creation, community management, and content brainstorms
  • Assist with in-person photo shoots and content filming days
  • Assist with weekly competitive industry reporting
  • Assist with social media calendar organization
  • Actively engage with the Westman Atelier community and customers
  • Assist with content editing as needed

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Prior experience interning for content, social media, and/or marketing departments
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Goal-driven with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Candidates need to be based in NY, with the ability to come to our office at least 2 days/week
