Pay: $18.00 to $25.00 Based on experience

Shift: 6am- 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 6am-10am Friday

POSITION SUMMARY: Sets up and operates the Vertical Machining Center (VMC) to produce precision parts.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (includes essential job functions):

  • Set up VMC with existing programs.
  • Make offset adjustments during operation.
  • Perform quality checks of VMC using measuring tools.
  • Read prints and job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance per schedule. Report to supervisor.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Must have VMC or CNC experience
  • Must be proficient in the use of measuring tools
  • Metal fabrication experience required
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, detail oriented production and manufacturing environment
  • Must be proficient in print reading
  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
