Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects obligations are being delivered and according to industry and company standards, managing financial performance, delivering a safe workplace, and developing strong relationships with fellow employees and customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Operations, Engineering, Sales, and the Administration Departments) to improve the entire customer experience. A strong background in both physical security (Access Control, CCTV & Intrusion Detection systems) and infrastructure is desired. Additional certifications may be required as part of this position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and teams both locally as well as on a national level.
  • Recruit, hire and train project teams.
  • Ability to lead direct reports in all aspects of installation of projects.
  • Able to implement project plan while maintaining quality assurance, financial performance, and schedule.
  • Collect data, as-built, pictures, and any other deliverables needed for Project Closeout
  • Manage & approve project schedules and timesheets.
  • Define all projects tasks and resource requirements.
  • Understand installation methods and commissioning for all integrated systems, Security, Audio, Visual, Access Control and Infrastructure Cabling
  • Provide daily/weekly report of project progress and issues.
  • Ensure that project Foreman are Initiating daily team safety meetings and documenting minutes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Manager I position to effectively execute projects and coordination tasks.
  • The ability to run several small projects, concurrently as well as mid to large size client specific projects as assigned by Premise One.
  • Effectively manage an average combined project workload between $2M - $5M.

Qualifications:
  • Must have verifiable Project Management experience or relevant industry experience to manage multiple projects with multiple customers at any given time.
  • Effectively manage projects within and outside of home base area while managing multiple installation teams across the country.
  • Must be self-motivated, demonstrate leadership skills and problem-solving skills to guide project teams to completion.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner to provide direct updates to clients/customers and Premise One Leadership team.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions to identify potential risks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with internal sales, estimating and engineering teams.
  • Review drawings/blueprints and other customer related documents to successfully manage all projects.
  • Must be able to travel, as needed for assigned customer accounts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:
  • Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project)
  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards to include a verifiable record that is in line with the Company's Fleet Safety program.
  • Competent problem-solving ability with strong mathematical and communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel, as needed for assigned customer accounts.
  • Ability to handle physical workload as related to daily responsibilities.

Experience: Three to Five years related experience and/or training required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, write correspondence, and communicate effectively with others and third parties, preferably, and sometimes exclusively, in English.
Mathematical Skills: Competent ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Competent ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Competent ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in situations where only limited standardizations exist.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Driving is a requirement for this position therefore A valid driver's license is required. The employee's motor vehicle record will be subject to the policies and provisions contained in the company's Fleet Safety Program.
