Turner Staffing Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Audio Visual (AV) Technician to support the planning and execution of events by providing reliable audio-visual setup, operation, and troubleshooting services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced event environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, test, operate, and break down a wide range of AV equipment, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, screens, lighting, video conferencing tools, and recording equipment.
  • Conduct pre-event system checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and configured to event specifications.
  • Provide real-time technical support during events, including monitoring audio levels, managing presentations, switching video feeds, and resolving technical issues quickly and professionally.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor technical issues with AV systems, coordinating with vendors or senior technicians for more complex problems when necessary.
  • Support hybrid and virtual events by managing streaming platforms, video conferencing tools (such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom), and live event feeds.
  • Collaborate closely with event planners, presenters, venue staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
