The Branch Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of branch operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with company policies. Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Delivers prompt, professional customer service and resolves issues effectively across multiple communication channels.
  • Builds and sustains strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams through collaborative problem-solving.
  • Supervises branch staff, managing schedules, payroll, and ensuring timecard accuracy for operational efficiency.
  • Conducts performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
  • Fosters a positive work environment through effective communication and consistent leadership.
  • Oversee branch safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Manages timely branch openings/closings and responds to after-hours alarms.
  • Conducts routine inspections to ensure operational and safety compliance.
  • Monitors inventory impact of large orders and recommend new product additions.
  • Trains staff on product knowledge and information access.
  • Ensures timely stocking of incoming inventory.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records, labeling, and daily count reporting.
  • Processes damaged and warranty items promptly and efficiently.
  • Enforces safety policies and promptly addresses hazards to ensure a secure environment.
  • Leads safety initiatives, including daily walkthroughs, weekly meetings, and inspections.
  • Promotes a proactive safety culture and meets established safety goals.
  • Conducts incident investigations and ensures timely, accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Adheres to company procedures for cash handling and credit authorizations.
  • Addresses branch issues and reports on key initiatives.

  • Full-time role (40-50 hours/week) requires regular physical activity and equipment operation.
  • Involves frequent lifting (25-50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.) and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
  • Requires use of forklifts and material handling equipment, along with frequent bending, climbing, and reaching.
  • Demands sustained physical movement and visual acuity for safe and effective task execution.
