The Job

The Visual Merchandising Specialist manages all aspects related to visual merchandising directives and standards within our retail environment. This role ensures a consistent brand image and product presentation, aiming to enhance store sales and create a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating closely with the team, this position will lead the implementation of merchandising standards and support the store leadership staff in various merchandising-related activities. The Visual Merchandising Specialist is responsible for tracking product and fixture performance and making data driven decisions that drive product performance and business results. When not directly engaged in specialist duties, the Visual Merchandising Specialist performs typical retail associate responsibilities, delivering excellent customer service.


Scheduling Requirements: This is a Full-time, year-round position.

  • Visual Creativity: Conceptualize, create, and execute table displays, product replenishments, mannequin dressing, seasonal store flips, and reactive merchandising, among other related duties.
  • Standards Adherence: Ensure that all displayed products in the store adhere to evo's visual merchandising standards.
  • Delegation: Delegate merchandising directives to store staff when appropriate, ensuring timely completion.
  • Communication: Communicate visual merchandising standards to staff daily and other departments weekly.
  • Training: Train other employees on visual merchandising standards in coordination with the store leadership team.
  • Flexibility: Complete all projects and tasks outside of standard retail hours when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The Must Haves

  • 2 to 3 years of retail sales experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of store merchandising processes and standards.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including POS, Netsuite, Microsoft Office, and Inventory Management software.
