Job description

Primary Function:
The Conventional Merchandiser is responsible for stocking, rotating, and maintaining company merchandise in retail accounts to ensure product availability, display standards, and customer satisfaction.

Market Assignment:
This position serves the Central Market, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Durham, Southpoint, and Morrisville.


Key Responsibilities

  • Stock, rotate, clean, and maintain product on shelves, coolers, fast lanes, and promotional displays according to company standards.
  • Arrange merchandise to maximize visual appeal and sales performance.
  • Organize backroom inventory as needed and maintain safe, clean work environments.
  • Ensure proper accounting of product and assets.
  • Provide professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with account personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a strong driving record.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in stocking, route delivery, merchandising, or retail preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with availability for occasional weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, lift up to 30 pounds overhead, push and pull product frequently, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours per day.
  • Demonstrated dependability, integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass required background checks, Motor Vehicle Report review, and company drug testing requirements.
