Job Description:

We are seeking a Creative Manager, Visual Storytelling to elevate our firm's brand through sophisticated, design-driven storytelling across digital and experiential platforms. This role will lead the visual expression of our website and collaborate closely with web, marketing, and business development teams to ensure cohesive, high-impact design that aligns with brand standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic, concept-driven designer who can translate complex legal and business content into compelling visual narratives-developing infographics, thought leadership assets, social content, proposals, and immersive event experiences. This is a highly visible, manager-level role for a creative leader who combines refined design sensibility with strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to bring clarity, consistency, and innovation to a global, leading law firm.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the web team to concept and execute visually compelling website designs that align with brand standards and enhance user experience
  • Ensure cohesive integration of color, photography, typography, layout, and motion, where applicable, across digital properties
  • Develop high-impact visual storytelling assets including infographics, diagrams, data visualizations, and design-forward thought leadership pieces and case studies
  • Assess and evaluate different platforms and technology products to support data visualization and storytelling
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and business development teams to transform complex legal and business content into clear, engaging, and visually compelling narratives
  • Create visually distinctive materials for use across multiple channels, including website pages, social media, proposals, presentations, and campaign assets
  • Serve as a creative consultant to the events team to elevate the visual and experiential aspects of firm-hosted events, including environmental graphics, signage systems, presentation templates, digital displays, and immersive brand moments
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Uphold and evolve brand standards, ensuring all visual communications reflect the firm's positioning and sophistication
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and elevate the firm's visual presence in a competitive professional services landscape

Job Specifications:

  • At least ten (10) years of professional design experience, preferably within a professional services, agency, or in-house brand environment
  • Proven experience in a mid-level creative or brand role, preferably within management consulting, big four accounting, or brand agencies
  • Demonstrated expertise in visual storytelling, including strong experience with typography, color theory, photography direction, layout systems, and data visualization
  • Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated digital design work, infographics, experiential/event design, and brand-driven creative solutions
  • Experience collaborating with web developers and understanding of digital design best practices, UX principles, and responsive design considerations
  • Proven ability to translate complex, content-heavy material into clear and compelling visual narratives
  • Experience consulting with cross-functional stakeholders and presenting creative concepts to senior leaders
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and growth
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with Figma or other digital design tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Target Hiring Range $115,000 - $161,000

Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
