JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Product Manager for Visa Commercial Solutions Virtual Card Platform, we are seeking an individual that is a self-starter, ready to learn and innovate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role will support the continued evolution of Visa's commercial payment capabilities and act as the Product Owner for one or more scrum teams delivering scalable, secure, and resilient virtual card and B2B payment capabilities.
The ideal candidate will combine strong product management experience with analytical, technical, collaboration, and leadership skills. The role will support end-to-end product management, including market and client needs assessment, product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, release planning, client impact assessment, and go-to-market readiness across Technology, Risk, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Implementation, Client Service, Finance, and regional product teams.
The role requires technical, analytical, collaborative and strategic product skills The candidate will develop a deep understanding of Visa Commercial Solutions' Virtual Card and B2B payment platforms, payment flows, account structures, and virtual card capabilities ensuring product changes are delivered on time and that issuer, partner, and client impacts are effectively managed. This role will also involve some operational activities including but not limited to the creation and distribution of monthly release notes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Visa Commercial Solutions strategies, Virtual Card priorities, B2B payment flows, customer needs, and market requirements, and translate them into the product roadmap.

  • Serve as the Product Owner for one or more scrum teams, including defining product features, prioritizing the backlog, and writing clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Partner with Technology, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure platform capabilities across payment services, account services, virtual card lifecycle management, settlement, reconciliation, and APIs.

  • Work cross-functionally with Risk, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Implementation, Client Service, Finance, regional product teams, and external partners to assess impacts, resolve issues, and support successful delivery.

  • Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing to validate that product capabilities meet business, functional, operational, and client requirements.

  • Produce and maintain product documentation, including user guides, product overview decks, release notes, implementation materials, training content, and support documentation.

  • Drive go-to-market and operational readiness activities, including release communications, client impact assessments, defect triage, escalation management, and post-release monitoring.

  • Serve as a product subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, client financial institutions, and partners through collaboration with regional product, implementation, and support teams.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills while operating independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience with an Advanced degree, e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or a minimum of 2 years of work experience with a PhD.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in presenting and communicating complex/detailed topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.

  • Experience managing digital, fintech, SaaS, commercial card, or B2B payment products from inception to launch.

  • Experience with aan AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot is a must.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or at least 6 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD.

  • Proven experience with commercial card, virtual card, B2B payments, embedded payments, treasury, payables, or accounts payable automation solutions.

  • Comprehensive understanding of payment flows within B2B environments, including buyer, issuer, processor, supplier, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting processes.

  • Track record of serving as a product manager, overseeing products from conception through launch.

  • Experience with API-based products, platform integrations, payment services, account services, data APIs, and partner integrations.

  • Ability to identify potential failure points and develop effective error-handling strategies to ensure product resiliency.

  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of virtual card lifecycle management, credit card authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling processes.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to execute complex projects independently or through team supervision.

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

  • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-focused environments.

  • Knowledge of additional digital and B2B payment systems such as ACH, RTP, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.

U.S. Applicants Only
The estimated salary range for this position is $152,200.00 to $ 243,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
