Job description

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Represent the Credit Union to the members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing of transactions;
  2. Provide by telephone, general and specific service-related information concerning Credit Union products, services or policies;
  3. Respond to members' requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct the member to the proper person for specific information and assistance;
  4. Cross-sell and/or promote PSFCU products and services to PSFCU members and prospective members.
  5. Assist members in balancing their accounts
  6. Research account discrepancies;
  7. Provide member service in Online Banking setup up.
  8. Process stop payment requests for share drafts and revocation of authorization for ACH debits;
  9. Accept member requests for draft copies, copies of statements and account history, and copies of tax forms;
  10. Maintain comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the Credit Union's line of products and services to ensure effective cross selling;
  11. Provide member services to ATM, VISA and Debit Card holders;
  12. Open/create and close ATM and Debit Card accounts;
  13. Facilitate Visa Card, Debit Card and ATM Card activation;
  14. Process payments for Visa Credit Cards and Loans;
  15. Order and reorder checkbooks from Harland Clarke;
  16. Open new memberships and share draft accounts over the phone
  17. Provide members with information regarding consumer loans, real estate loans, business loans, and VISA cards.
  18. Accept Credit Card applications and Vehicle Loan applications
  19. Perform name and address verification for merchants in regards to Visa and Debit cards;
  20. Provide service/information resource for co-workers;
  21. Effectively offer Credit Union products and services through the practice of established sales and service techniques;
  22. Temporarily increase credit limit on Credit Cards up to the maximum amount specified for this position;
  23. Perform any other duties or responsibilities, as required or assigned.

Requirement:
  • High school diploma;
  • 1 - 3 years financial institution experience;
  • 1 year experience in a call center or as a customer service representative;
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer software programs;
  • Ability to cross sell products;
  • Fluency in spoken and written Polish;
  • Zero to one year of work experience, preferred, but not required in a financial institution;

Pay: $20.00 - $22.26 per hour
