Job description

Job Summary The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker. This is a part-time, evening, non-benefitted position involving up to 28 hours per week. Duties may include but are not limited to: perform skilled service and maintenance duties including repairs, greasing, lubricating, fueling equipment, and servicing of City vehicles, automotive equipment, truck, and/or heavy construction equipment.

Perform semi-skilled mechanical duties, including the general repair, maintenance, and safety inspection of gasoline, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment used by City departments. Qualifications and Skills: Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience. Steel-toed boots and work uniforms will be provided.
