Salary: Starting at 53,000$ annually based on experience + bonus plan

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Your goal is demonstrating a high level of knowledge & business expertise towards menswear and womenswear, showcasing a genuine passion for sales, and understanding that building trusted customer relationships is essential to driving performance and strengthening our position in the market.

You will be responsible for developing and managing all accounts across Quebec, along with a portfolio of key accounts. Through strong commercial follow-up, reliable customer support, and a partnership-focused approach, you will identify opportunities for growth and contribute to the continued success of SELECTED.

This position offers a high level of autonomy, along with meaningful opportunities to influence results and contribute to the development of the business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish high-level strategic plans that are in line with the company mission and vision.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis to identify our competitive advantage.
  • Define strong value proposition that resonates with your clients.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly internal meetings.
  • Grow your business and open new accounts.
  • Process & track orders and manage inventory.
  • Planning and execution of sales and customer visits.
  • Ongoing follow-up on sales and demand.
  • Keep up to date on budgets and results in your markets.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

We are looking for an individual with a sales-oriented, positive and energetic attitude, who thrives in a sales role that requires you to work on and prioritize between multiple tasks at the same time. We hire for mindset and train for skills, but it would be great, if you bring the following to the table:

  • Solid experience in wholesale in the fashion industry, more precisely in the men's and women's department.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the fashion Industry on the wholesale side.
  • Extensive fashion knowledge, understanding the competition in the current market.  
  • An extensive network of potential customers in Eastern Canada and even established professional relationships with relevant customers.
  • Advanced understanding of data trends and market analysis; you can easily navigate through them with different software (PowerBI, Excel, etc).
  • High emotional intelligence: you know the "why" behind a value proposition and use this to create heartfelt alignment with your clients and prospects.
  • You have a valid driver's license and car to commute efficiently for this role.
