Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Accounting performs and manages Virtual F&I Standardization projects through collaborative efforts with Virtual team to assess customer needs, ensure timely project milestones, professionally communicates process, tasks and milestones with customers

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Accounting chart of accounts clean-up

  • Accounting Standardizations

  • New Year Service Updates

  • MIS reports

  • Add and update accounts to the chart of accounts using the COA Excel processing tool

  • Add and update single company and consolidated Financial Statements

  • Prepare for and Complete Accounting Standardizations, including the Chart of Accounts. Schedules and Journals

  • Update Virtual Biller files after changing the chart of accounts with the AGSM function

  • Acts as an SME on all things Accounting as it pertains to standardization process or as outlined in SOW

  • Proactively communicates with Senior Manager or Director to avoid unsatisfactory customer delivery.

  • Manages project from beginning to end

  • Manages customer expectations

  • Creates a Statement of Work for each project that clearly identifies CDK and customer responsibilities

  • Ensures tasks and milestones are completed to keep projects on track

  • Schedules, prepares presentations for customer facing Team meetings

  • Performing necessary Admin tasks when needed

  • Maintain Salesforce projects including adding notes and attaching all client correspondence to projects.

  • Assist with other Virtual Services as needed

  • Some evening and weekend work required

  • Liaison with other departments within CDK and partnering with onsite consultants as required

  • Ensures tasks and milestones are completed to keep projects on track

  • Follows prepared Statement of Work to deliver high level customer service

  • Complete personal developmental and departmental assigned goals

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Must be a self-starter and able to self-manage time and assignments

  • Knowledge of chart of accounts file structure

  • Desire to explore and develop best practices to aid in team growth and efficiencies

  • Subject Matter Expert knowledge of CDK Accounting application and set-ups

  • Desire to grow and develop knowledge and working skills for all aspects of the DMS

  • 5 plus years experience with CDK Accounting application, functions and/or standardizations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Good Power Point skills

  • Excellent or Advanced Excel skills

  • General knowledge of how the DMS file structure works

  • Desire to mentor and build strong relationships with team members

  • Desire to lead

Salary Range: $92,500 - $106,000 + Annual Target Bonus
