We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and enterprise infrastructure technologies. This role is responsible for the administration, support, security, and optimization of both cloud and on-premises environments, including Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing hybrid IT environments, supporting business-critical systems, improving infrastructure reliability, and assisting with modernization initiatives across servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
Key Responsibility:
Cloud Infrastructure & Azure Administration
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Support and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, VPN connectivity, Azure Backup, and related services.
  • Assist with cloud migrations, hybrid infrastructure design, and Azure resource deployment.
  • Monitor Azure resource performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Implement and maintain Azure governance, RBAC, policies, and best practices.
  • Support identity and access management across cloud and on-prem environments.

Windows Server & Systems Administration
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems and related infrastructure services.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and Windows-based enterprise applications.
  • Perform server patching, system upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Support system performance tuning, log review, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Virtualization & Datacenter Support
  • Administer and support VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter environments.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure.
  • Provision, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot virtual machines and host infrastructure.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and restore operations.
  • Assist with hardware, storage, and virtualization platform planning and optimization.

Network & Security Infrastructure
  • Support and troubleshoot enterprise networking environments using Cisco Meraki technologies.
  • Administer and assist with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, security policies, NAT, VPNs, and rule management.
  • Collaborate on network security, segmentation, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.
  • Monitor infrastructure and security alerts, investigate issues, and support incident response activities.
  • Maintain secure connectivity between cloud and on-prem systems.

Operations, Support & Improvement
  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and requests.
  • Participate in system maintenance windows, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
  • Work with IT leadership and team members to improve reliability, scalability, and security of the environment.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and change records.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to system administration processes and tools.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in a System Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Microsoft infrastructure services.
  • Experience administering VMware
  • Experience administering Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki networking technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewall administration and network security concepts.
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud / on-prem infrastructure environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, or hybrid identity environments.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms such as Veeam or similar.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting platforms.
  • Knowledge of storage, server hardware, and enterprise datacenter operations.
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure hardening.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $110,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
