Position Overview

Pathways to Wellness is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to support our clinical team in Clarksville, TN. We do have a physical location in Clarksville. This virtual position supports telehealth sessions to support clients across Tennessee, and in-person sessions are also available with the practice having two physical locations โ€“ Clarksville and Cordova.

The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes, comfortable with virtual service delivery, and skilled in providing trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management
  • Provide clinical services virtual to support the Clarksville practice location
  • Deliver telehealth appointments using our secure virtual platform, Tebra
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, case managers, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant documentation
  • Follow state and federal practice guidelines, including controlled substance regulations
  • Participate in clinical meetings and case reviews as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Tennessee APRN license -required
  • Board Certified PMHNP-BC (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) โ€“ required
  • Active, unrestricted DEA license โ€“ required
  • One (1) year minimum post-license experience as a PMHNP
  • Continuing Education Credits to meet regulatory and licensure requirements
  • Experience conducting psychiatric assessments and medication management
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
  • Experience with behavioral health CPT and ICD10 codes
  • Proficient in medical documentation compliant with health plans, federal and state requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient mental health or integrated care settings
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills

  • Flexible scheduling: full-time or part-time positions available
