Job description

Job Description:

We are Omnissa!

Omnissa is the first AI-driven digital work platform, built to support flexible, secure, work-from anywhere experiences. We integrate industry-leading solutions—including Unified Endpoint Management, Virtual  Apps and Desktops, Digital Employee Experience, and Security & Compliance—into a seamless, autonomous workspace that adapts to how people work. Our platform boosts employee engagement while optimizing IT operations, security, and cost.
Guided by our Core Values—Act in Alignment, Build Trust, Foster Inclusiveness, Drive Efficiency, and Maximize Customer Value—we’re growing rapidly and committed to delivering meaningful impact. If you\'re passionate about shaping the future of work, we’d love to hear from you.

At Omnissa, we are committed to maintaining a fair, consistent, and secure hiring process for all candidates. As part of this approach, we use standard interview and verification practices designed to ensure alignment and protect both candidates and the organization. These practices are applied thoughtfully and with respect for candidate privacy.

What is the opportunity?:
As the Assistant General Counsel and Director, Global Partner Program, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel – Global Commercial Lead, you will lead Omnissa’s legal support for our global partner ecosystem. You will serve as the senior legal leader across all partner routes to market - including distribution, resale, and managed service providers — and work closely with Omnissa’s partner business and operational teams. Here is a breakdown:

  • Serve as the senior legal advisor and primary escalation point for Omnissa’s worldwide channel partner programs, spanning all routes to market.

  • While this is currently an individual contributor role, there is an opportunity to build and lead the partner legal team as the partner ecosystem scales, shaping team priorities, structure and hiring as the business grows.

  • Own the strategy for scaling legal support of the partner ecosystem, including playbooks, templates, and contracting processes that drive efficiency and consistency.

  • Identify and lead new initiatives to drive automation and efficiency across the team’s work.  Bonus points if you have experience using AI tools in your daily legal work or to design processes that leverage AI‑enabled workflows.

  • Manage the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex and high-visibility channel partner agreements and guide the team on the same.

  • Partner with Omnissa’s partner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders (sales, finance, operations, compliance) to align legal strategy with business objectives and Omnissa’s strategic goals.

  • Review and assist in maintaining Omnissa’s program terms to ensure they are clear, scalable, and enforceable (program guides, participation agreements, and incentives).

  • Provide practical, risk-based guidance on partner ecosystem matters, including contract interpretation, partner disputes, and enforcement of program terms.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Commercial Legal Team and the broader Omnissa Legal Team on cross-functional matters and initiatives.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience practicing law, including significant experience supporting a global channel partner ecosystem across multiple routes to market.

  • Proven experience building channel partner programs and legal infrastructure — not just maintaining existing ones.

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal and commercial concepts clearly and concisely.

  • Strong business judgment, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal and business risk while providing practical, actionable solutions that support Omnissa’s strategy.

  • Demonstrated leadership presence and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders.

  • Prior experience building and/or leading a partner legal team (or other group within the legal organization), with a demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and manage legal professionals as an organization grows will be considered a strong plus but not an absolute requirement.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities and competing demands with attention to detail.

  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships internally and with external partners.

  • Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle new and undefined issues.

  • A sense of humor — we like to have fun, and it’s an important part of every day.

Location: Atlanta, GA OR USA
Location Type: Remote OR Hybrid
Travel Expectations: None
Education: J.D required and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.

Compensation:

The typical base salary for this role is between USD $180,000 – $245,000 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors. In addition to competitive compensation, Omnissa offers a variety of benefits such as employee ownership, health insurance, 401k with matching contributions, disability insurance, paid-time off, growth opportunities, and more.
