NORCAL Ambulance, the largest Critical Care Transport (CCT) provider in Northern California, is growing and is actively seeking CCT-Registered Nurses (CCT-RN) for full-time (FT), part-time (PT), and per-diem (PRN) positions throughout Northern California (Dublin, Concord, Sacramento, Modesto, Sunnyvale) who genuinely desire to provide unparalleled patient care in an ever-changing environment.

With our CCT-RN Academy, you will be prepared to safely monitor and care for critically ill and injured patients during inter-facility ground transports utilizing our:

Schedule Highlights: Full-time position averaging 76 hours per pay period Day shift schedule Predictable rotation: 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off Only one weekend required per two-week pay period Assigned between Concord and Marin stations Extended weekend time off built into the rotation

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide care to a diverse population of critically ill or injured patients of all ages, including pediatrics, in a mobile environment, one patient at a time
  • Function as a leader and mentor to a team of specialty trained CCT EMTs
  • Communicate and consult with primary medical providers, facilities, patients and their families, establishing a plan of care based on best practices and standing protocols 


Requirements

  • California RN License 
  • Minimum two years of recent ER, ICU, or prior Critical Care Transport/Flight experience (RN or EMT-P)
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • AHA ACLS Certification
  • AHA  PALS Certification
  • CEN, CCRN, CFRN, CTRN (preferred)
  • TNCC, ITLS, TNATC (preferred)
