Position Requirements

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with Research and Development, Engineering, and technical subject matter experts to translate complex product-development processes into clear, learner-focused training solutions.
• Present solution options to stakeholders and subject matter experts, recommending the most efficient approach to achieve learning objectives.
• Effectively report to a direct line manager while partnering closely with cross-functional leaders in other departments to deliver aligned solutions.
 
Project Leadership & Execution
• Lead each project from start to finish, including needs analysis, scope definition, instructional design, development, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, track interdependencies across product lines, sites, and roles, and regularly communicate status to leadership.
• Proven ability to manage learning and development programs end-to-end, including scoping, resource planning, vendor coordination, and implementation.
• Strong project management capabilities, with at least five years of experience managing competing priorities with minimal supervision in dynamic environments.
 
Instructional Design & Content Development
• Design multi-modal learning experiences including instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, digital modules, interactive video, performance support, social and peer learning, and blended programs aligning with business needs.
• Develop new content or update existing materials, ensuring accuracy in drawings, specifications, standard operating procedures, and quality-system requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, with experience in needs analysis, storyboarding, scenario-based learning, assessments, and evaluation.
• Ability to produce high-quality instructional videos; working knowledge of visual design principles is a plus.
Facilitation & Delivery
• Facilitate workshops, pilots, and train-the-trainer sessions for engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams as needed.
• Skilled facilitator of instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training for technical audiences.
 
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
• Measure and evaluate learning effectiveness using Kirkpatrick levels; apply data, learner feedback, and operational metrics to refine programs.
• Contribute to broader learning and development initiatives, including knowledge management, competency mapping, mentoring and shadowing programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
 
Tools & Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Word; strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop).
• Experience with Synthesia is a plus.
 
Experience Requirements
• Minimum of five years designing and delivering technical or industrial training, preferably for teams in research and development, product development, or process engineering.
