Virtual Instructional Coaches offer guidance, feedback, and resources to help teachers achieve their professional goals, adapt to new technologies, and enhance student learning outcomes.

What does a virtual instructional coach do?

As a virtual instructional coach, you meet with teachers and administrators via video conference or online, offering them support and helping them develop more effective instructional strategies. You may help them integrate new technologies into their lesson plans, develop multi-disciplinary programs that drive learning, and help students succeed through effective classroom management. You provide critical feedback on teaching approaches and styles, as well as action plans teachers can use to improve the classroom environment, improve student test scores, and successfully implement required state and federal standards. Success in this position relies on strong communication skills and the ability to foster trust and rapport despite the lack of in-person interaction.
