This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced instructional design professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, brings strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and meticulous attention to detail, and is passionate about continuous learning and helping others expand their knowledge and skills. In this role, you will design and develop interactive, engaging training solutions, including eLearning, multimedia, videos, and both in-person and virtual instructor-led experiences.
What you'll do:
  • Consult with subject matter experts to develop engaging training content.
  • Apply a creative mindset to find new and innovative ways to design and develop training content.
  • Review, update, and maintain training content to support the needs of the business.
  • Organize materials and provide support to the facilitators before, during, and after training events.
  • Manage assigned projects using project management concepts to meet milestones and project timelines.
  • Lead project meetings with business partners to ensure all steps of assigned projects are completed within parameters.
  • Proactive research on evolving trends in the field of learning and recommend innovative training tools and techniques to deliver cutting-edge design solutions.
  • Develop talent within the instructional design team by coaching junior designers, and reinforcing effective design practices, technologies and workflows.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

What you'll bring:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning technologies, or other related field and 10+ years of professional corporate instructional design experience or combined work experience and education (14 years).
  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing interactive instructor-led and eLearning modules.
  • 10+ years of experience developing content using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, HeyGen (or similar), and Camtasia.
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects.
  • 2+ years of experience using AI-driven platforms in your instructional design solutions.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and with video conferencing technology, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
  • Proven proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and experience to work independently and develop training solutions from start (analysis) to end (evaluate).

Preferred
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects with 3 or more people.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitation in a corporate setting.
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership development or coaching, sales, building products, distribution or safety.
  • Certification in DiSC, CliftonStrengths, MBTI, SDI (Core Strengths), or other team or behavioral assessments.
  • Experience developing interactive content using virtual reality or augmented reality.
  • Experience working as an administrator in an LMS, such as Cornerstone.
  • Professional trainer certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP, Certified Technical Trainer - CTT+, or similar).
  • Brain-centric Instructional Designer (BcID) certification.

Working conditions
  • Hybrid position; On-site in Coppell, TX or Atlanta, GA for two days per week, or Greenwich, CT for 5 days a week
  • Up to 15% travel.
  • Occasional on-site field visits.
  • Work samples will be required
