Application Deadline: 24 September 2026

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 base + bonus

Description

At Zappi, you’ll be joining a passionate team of marketers who are on a mission to help our own world‑class customers, some of the best‑known B2C brands on the planet, to evolve their own marketing, advertising, and innovation. We have a distinctive, highly differentiated brand, known for our quirky and fun energy, and for building incredible relationships with our customers. Our customers love us, promote us, and love to get on stage with us. Probably because we love them too! This comes through in our marketing and in the way we work every day.

About the role:

We are looking for an organized, creative, and results‑driven Field Marketing Manager to help bring the Zappi brand and customer experience to life through memorable global events.

In this role, you’ll own the planning and execution of a range of in‑person and virtual experiences, including industry conferences and trade shows, Zappi‑hosted customer events, executive dinners, webinars and other strategic marketing programs.

You’ll work closely with the wider Marketing team as well as Sales and Customer Success to ensure our events engage the right audiences, create meaningful experiences for customers and prospects, and contribute to Zappi’s growth goals.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves making things happen. You’ll manage events from initial planning through execution and follow‑up, working across internal teams, external partners and vendors to deliver consistently high‑quality experiences.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Own end-to-end execution of Zappi’s event calendar, including industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, executive dinners, webinars and other in-person or virtual experiences.
  • Develop event plans, timelines and project briefs, coordinating all of the moving pieces required to deliver events on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage event logistics including venues, catering, AV, booth requirements, signage, shipping, promotional materials, attendee registration and onsite coordination.
  • Partner with the broader Marketing team to develop event messaging, creative assets, promotional plans and pre- and post-event communications.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify target accounts and customers, drive attendance and ensure strong follow-up after events.
  • Support Zappi speakers and customer participants, coordinating briefing materials, presentations, schedules and logistics to create a great speaker experience.
  • Manage relationships with event organizers, venues, agencies and other external vendors, ensuring deliverables, timelines and budgets are met.
  • Manage event budgets and track costs, invoices and spend to ensure programs are delivered efficiently.
  • Be the key point of contact onsite for Zappi events, proactively solving problems and ensuring attendees, speakers and internal stakeholders have a great experience.
  • Develop creative ways to bring Zappi’s distinctive brand and personality to life at events and create experiences people remember.
  • Track and report on event performance, including attendance, engagement, leads, opportunities and other relevant success measures.
  • Lead post-event debriefs and use learnings and performance data to continuously improve future events.
  • Maintain event processes, calendars, documentation and tools to help the team work efficiently and consistently across programs.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
  • Experience in events, event marketing, field marketing or experiential marketing, within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing events from planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills—you’re comfortable keeping track of lots of moving pieces without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Experience working with external vendors, venues, event organizers and agencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and levels of seniority.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success and broader Marketing teams.
  • Commercial mindset and an understanding of how events contribute to demand generation, customer engagement and pipeline.
  • Comfortable using data and event performance metrics to understand what worked and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Resourceful and calm under pressure, with the ability to solve problems quickly when plans inevitably change.
  • Willing and able to travel to support events when required.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation and/or event management platforms is a plus!
Benefits
  • Salary range $110,000 - $120,000 + bonus per annum. Salaries are benchmarked annually
  • Unlimited holidays – we want well rested and motivated teams so encourage people to take plenty of time off. We don’t cap your allowance, but do set a minimum of at least 20 days per year plus national holidays
  • One company-paid mental health day of rest every quarter (these are pre-scheduled, so the entire company can take the same days off regularly to reset)
  • Flexible working arrangements, including remote (unless otherwise specified)
  • Thoughtfully designed offices to support both individual work and collaboration without interrupting others
  • Support setting up your home office, if appropriate
  • Wellbeing benefits and access to trained therapists / counsellors
  • Company paid Life, AD&D, Short term & Long term disability
  • Immediate access to Zappi's Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Plan
  • Option to enter Zappi's 401k program after 90 days of employment, matched up to 4%
