The Opportunity:
Analyze and evaluate products through technical editorial support and ensure administrative and production on requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy and doctrine and their operating environments are met. Read and evaluate intelligence products and ensure defense tradecraft standards are met. Look for inconsistencies of thought, development, or organization. Confer with authors to recommend treatment of material. Perform reorganization, cut, or rewrite, as necessary, and edit copy.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with editing and written document production
  • 3+ years of experience with intelligence production
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with defense tradecraft standards
  • Knowledge of foundational military intelligence and military capabilities
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
