Job description

Interwell Health is a kidney care management company that partners with physicians on its mission to reimagine healthcare-with the expertise, scale, compassion, and vision to set the standard for the industry and help patients live their best lives. We are on a mission to help people and we know the work we do changes their lives. If there is a better way, we will create it. So, if our mission speaks to you, join us!
Interwell Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead a team of RN Care Managers within our Virtual Clinical Services organization. This team partners closely with other interdisciplinary members to deliver coordinated assessments, education, care planning, and targeted interventions for patients across multiple states through telephonic and virtual care models. Reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, you will provide direct supervision, coaching, and clinical leadership while serving as a subject matter expert for virtual clinical operations. You will collaborate with clinicians, practice partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality care delivery, strong clinical standards, and an exceptional patient experience.
Please note, we currently have two Supervisor openings available; both are Full Time, Remote opportunities.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
  • Monitor, supervise and balance workflow of the interdisciplinary virtual clinical care team.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage clinician schedules to meet patient demand and needs.
  • Partner with managers to set, communicate, and monitor clinician performance goals, ensuring alignment with program objectives and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, constructive feedback, and performance support to clinicians, proactively addressing performance issues and identifying opportunities for improvement, growth, and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment among direct reports, practice partners, and internal stakeholders, where individual differences are valued and leveraged to achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for improving processes and workflows and collaborate with virtual clinical operations leadership and other cross-functional leads to implement changes that enhance efficiency, patient experience, and care quality; monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust as necessary.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of recorded clinician calls to ensure optimal member experience and adherence to clinical standards; ensure patient interactions meet the highest standards of care and empathy.
  • Assist with interviewing candidates and training of new hires.

What You'll Need
  • Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Hold an active unrestricted clinical license (RN, SW, RD, PharmD).
  • Experience in renal care, chronic disease management, or related clinical care management; telephonic or virtual care program experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably leading and developing clinical teams.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze performance metrics, patient feedback, and clinical outcomes to identify trends, address operational issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and Microsoft tools (or equivalent), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clinicians, patients, and internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (including HIPAA), a strong commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical care, and cultural competence when working with diverse populations.

Our mission is to reinvent healthcare to help patients live their best lives, and we proudly live our mission-driven values:
  • We care deeply about the people we serve.
  • We are better when we work together.
  • Humility is a source of our strength.
  • We bring joy to our work.
  • We deliver on our promises.

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our recruiting practices. Everyone is welcome and included. We value our differences and learn from each other. Our team members come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. No matter how you identify your lifestyle, creed, or fandom, we value everyone's unique journey.
Oh, and one more thing ... a recent study shows that men apply for a job or promotion when they meet only 60% of the qualifications, but women and other marginalized groups apply only if they meet 100% of them. So, if you think you'd be a great fit, but don't necessarily meet every single requirement on one of our job openings, please still apply. We'd love to consider your application!
Come join us and help our patients live their best lives. Learn more at www.interwellhealth.com.
It has come to our attention that some individuals or organizations are reaching out to job seekers and posing as potential employers presenting enticing employment offers. We want to emphasize that these offers are not associated with our company and may be fraudulent in nature. Please note that our organization will not extend a job offer without prior communication with our recruiting team, hiring managers and a formal interview process.
