Description:
Colleague will work primarily within the discharge RN space, with the ability to work on the unit in a patient assignment capability. This colleague will be responsbile for the facilitating of discharge needs and follow through for patients nearing discharge readiness.
72hrs per pp Rotating Shift- every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA
Position Purpose:
Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually!
What you will do:
Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
  • For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
  • Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU's for relicensure.
  • Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MGHP.
