 Make a meaningful impact from the very first moment a patient enters care.   Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Assistant Manager, Clinical Admissions to lead our admissions team and ensure every patient and family experiences a safe, supportive, and seamless transition into treatment.

This role is ideal for a mission-driven RN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to shape the front door of care for Montana’s youth and families.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Admissions Staff — Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for a dedicated clinical admissions team.
  • Guide Patient Flow — Oversee referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered transitions.
  • Ensure Clinical Excellence — Review documentation, assessments, and initial treatment plans for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support High-Acuity Cases — Offer clinical guidance and escalation support for complex or urgent admissions.
  • Drive Quality & Compliance — Participate in audits, monitor regulatory standards, and champion best practices.
  • Collaborate Across Departments — Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and leadership to optimize throughput and enhance patient experience.

Requirements: What You Bring
  • Current RN license (Montana or compact state)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
