MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to support our Department of War contract out of Alexandria, VA to support the administration, maintenance, and operation of enterprise information systems within a secure Microsoft environment.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing Tier II and Tier III technical support while ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise systems.

  • Administering Windows servers, workstations, Microsoft 365 services, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications. Windows 11, Server 2016/2019/2022.

  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, and print services. Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

  • Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for desktop, server, and enterprise application issues.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network, and account-related problems.

  • Apply operating system and application patches using Ivanti or similar enterprise management tools. Perform vulnerability remediation based on ACAS scan results and security guidance. Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and system hardening procedures.

  • Administer VMware virtual machines. Support Microsoft Azure virtual machines and cloud-based services.

  • Travel is required between Alexandria, VA and Arlington, VA locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of related systems administration experience (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Security+ Certification

  • Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft environments at a Tier II level

  • Virtualization experience with VMware vSphere

  • Experience with vulnerability remediation based on ACAS scan results and security guidance with the ability to implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and system hardening procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certified

  • Microsoft 365 certified

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Security Clearance Required:

  • Must have a current / active Top Secret/ SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work


The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00.
