To oversee, prioritize, and participate in a variety of printing/duplicating operations and processes; to operate complex offset presses, copiers, and auxiliary equipment; and to perform preventative maintenance, adjustment, and repairs on a variety of equipment and machines. This job class is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of assigned work requests in support of the company. This job class requires technical and specialized skills/knowledge as well as competent communication skills and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Loading/setting up large format plotters
  • Weeding, Pre-masking, prepping substrates
  • Maintain a clean and well organized work environment
  • Edit current file layouts in CorelDraw and prepare files for cutting
  • Ability to lift 40 pound logs of vinyl
  • Laminating
  • Daily inspection of complete work for quality assurance
  • Orders needed supplies to maintain sufficient inventory; monitoring and checking orders as received; reviewing and monitoring expenditures; and maintaining related records

Educational and Other Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in Graphic Design, Production, Vinyl Cutting
  • Possess a high level of dexterity and precision
  • Experience in a fast pace environment.
  • Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
  • Sensitive to confidential information.
  • Work well under pressure and able to work independently.
  • Good in writing, documentation, coordination and analytical skills.

Mental and Physical Requirements:
  • Must have 1 years of experience.
  • Able to read, speak and write English.
  • Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions.
  • Capable problem solver.
  • Standing for long periods of times, walking, speaking and hearing - frequent.
  • Sitting - at a desk or computer station
  • Bending/stooping, twisting, lifting - frequent.
  • Gripping, reaching, writing, weeding, handling (paper, files, etc.) - frequent.
  • Able to work under stressful conditions at all times.
  • Fine motor skills - typing, 10-key.
  • Communication - phone communication, communication with personnel and customers.
  • Seeing - able to see the computer screen.
  • Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.
