PURPOSE
Performs assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direct supervision, performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly or sub-assembly line to produce building material components windows and glass products:
  • Assembles building windows, or glass.
  • Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and uses of both hand and power tools.
  • Works at different work stations as production needs require.
  • Removes defective products as needed, leans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs requires, other duties as assigned.
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
