Core Values & Responsibilities
  • Knowledgeable of all system (bus) routes and the Las Vegas RTC service (geographical) area.
  • Understand and follow the RTC's (the client) and Transdev's policies and procedures.
  • Must be knowledgeable with all aspects of a transit coach operator's job.
  • Knowledgeable in various software systems such as Orbital, Swiftly, VDS, Outlook, Teams, Genesys phone system, Luminator, and others as instructed and assigned.
  • Responds to and follows up on all video requests from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department, North Las Vegas Police Department, RTC, and Transdev.
  • Provides customer support to the client and law enforcement agencies by responding to questions and concerns regarding video requests.
  • Respond to critical accident / incident scenes as requested to immediately retrieve video.
  • Communicate with the on-call Safety and/or Security Manager informing them of them of updates while on-scene for critical events.
  • Complete video logs and reports as required.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend all policies and procedures, as well as follow Transdev's specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) that define various work tasks.

Minimum Education & Certifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows-based software

Minimum Experience & Skills Required
  • 2-3 years of security / surveillance experience
  • Some experience working in public transit preferred
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and analytical abilities

Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedule as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
