Job description

Short-Form Video Editor

Serena Neel LLC is hiring a full-time Short-Form Video Editor to cut personality-driven lifestyle, DIY, and challenge content for Serena Neel (@SerenaNeel - 16M+ subscribers across platforms).

This role is about one thing: making Serena's videos feel like Serena. Her style is the style. We need an editor who can match it closely and protect the natural, organic feel that makes her content work - not develop their own signature. If your instinct is to put your own stamp on the footage, this isn\'t the fit. If you love finding the funniest moment buried in an hour of raw footage and making it land, keep reading.

A note on confidentiality: You\'ll see unreleased videos, brand deals, and business details before they\'re public. Signing and fully honoring a nondisclosure agreement is a condition of employment, and we take it seriously.

What you\'ll do
  • Turn 30–60 minutes of raw footage into polished 2:30–3:00 minute videos
  • Deliver roughly 8 finished videos per week
  • Work 2:00–10:00 PM Pacific core hours - we shoot early mornings and post the next day, so afternoons and evenings are when the editing happens
  • Pitch multiple options for hooks, storylines, and endings when a video calls for it
  • Find and protect the funny, memorable, and important moments in the footage
  • Work directly with Thomas (your day-to-day manager) and Serena on videos with bigger storyline decisions
  • Keep every project organized and published through our shared CapCut cloud workspace
  • Occasionally cut content for social stories
What we\'re looking for
  • An for comedic timing and style-matching - we care more about your instincts than your years of experience. Your portfolio and test edit will do the talking.
  • Advanced CapCut proficiency. Editing and publishing through our shared CapCut cloud workspace is a firm requirement.
  • Strong pacing, storytelling, and retention instincts for short-form
  • Takes direct feedback well and turns revisions fast - expect 1–3 rounds per video, working collaboratively to get each one there
  • Reliable, organized, and self-directed while remote
Details
  • Full-time W-2 employee
  • $60,000 per year + paid time off
  • Remote (US) OR Hybrid (Las Vegas office available)
  • Core hours: 2:00–10:00 PM Pacific
  • Reports to Thomas, Co-Founder
How to apply
  1. Send your résumé and a portfolio of your strongest creator-style or personality-driven edits
  2. Include one Serena Neel video you believe best represents her editing style, and briefly tell us why
  3. Finalists will complete a paid test edit from real raw footage before any offer is made
