Will Rogers Downs Cherokee Casino is seeking an experienced surveillance agent to join our growing team! This position is responsible for actively monitoring the casino floor and all property assets to identify and report any potential theft, criminal acts, or noncompliance with gaming regulations. The agent must be highly familiar with a wide range of casino operations, from cash handling and gameplay to electronic gaming machines. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work closely with various departments and law enforcement agencies to conduct investigations and maintain records.

Company:Cherokee Nation Entertainment

  • 12 hours of college credit, including completion of Composition 1, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6 months of work experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak and write proficiently in English.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to do tedious work and work well within a team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have a valid driver's license. 
  • Conduct surveillance of all gaming areas to prevent theft and noncompliance with policies and regulations.
  • Monitor all casino properties for safety and security concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all gaming regulations (State, Tribal, and Federal).
  • Identify and document any variances from established standards, reporting them to a supervisor.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with controls for every department and all gaming and non-gaming positions.
  • Actively monitor cash handling, storage areas, and transfers for loss prevention.
  • Respond to requests for video reviews and other information from various departments.
  • Maintain proficiency in game play standards, betting strategy, and dealer procedures to identify cheating or scams.
  • Assist security with video reviews and monitoring during incidents or emergency situations.
  • Maintain logs and records of daily activities, equipment malfunctions, and investigations.
  • Proficiently operate a computerized report management system.
  • Maintain proper chain of custody for all video evidence and reports.
  • May be required to testify to the accuracy of reports or video evidence.Â
