About Us

The Heartland Roadshow, established in 2009, is a premier buyer of estate jewelry, precious metals, gold and silver coins, and collectibles. If youโ€™ve ever seen the TV show Antiques Roadshow, what we do is very similar. We host boutique buying events at hotels throughout the region where people bring in estate items to sell โ€” primarily gold, silver, coins, watches, and collectibles.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable eCommerce Listing Specialist to join our team in ย Schaumburg, IL. This role is responsible for researching, photographing, listing, and managing inventory on eBay across a variety of collectible and luxury categories.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience selling on eBay and understands how to accurately identify, price, and market specialty items to maximize sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create accurate and compelling eBay listings for estate and collectible items
  • Research products, market pricing, and comparable sold listings
  • Photograph items and write detailed item descriptions
  • Manage listings, revisions, and inventory organization
  • Monitor active listings and assist with pricing adjustments when needed
  • Ensure items are categorized correctly and presented professionally
  • Work with team members to prioritize incoming inventory and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Help identify high-value or specialty items within incoming inventory
Preferred Experience

Experience with eBay listings within one or more of the following categories is strongly preferred:

  • Pocket watches and wristwatches
  • Coins and paper money
  • Luxury purses and designer goods
  • Jewelry and collectibles
Qualifications
  • Previous eBay selling or listing experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable researching collectibles, luxury goods, and resale value
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic photography and computer skills
  • Strong written communication skills for listing descriptions
