Position Overview:
Crutchfield is seeking a Social Media Producer, Video Specialist to create engaging social media and video content. This position is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing high-quality social media and video content tailored for various social media platforms and the Crutchfield website. The Social Media Producer, Video Specialist will also analyze content performance and perform community management tasks.

The ideal candidate would have demonstrated success in social media content production and advertising for a business, preferably an online retailer. This person will have the ability to create compelling written, photo, and video assets as well as have a deep understanding of social media platforms and audience creation. This person will work well in a team environment and take pride in developing, implementing, and evaluating new ideas. The best-qualified candidate will have experience appearing on camera as talent in videos and would have interest in consumer electronics and related technology.

As a Social Media Producer, Video Specialist you will:
  • Develop and execute creative social media concepts that resonate with our target audiences
  • Create, shoot, and edit video, photo, and written content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and for the Crutchfield website
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform future content strategies
  • Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices to ensure content produced remains relevant and engaging
  • Be responsible for community management of Crutchfield’s social media channels
  • Create and maintain social media advertisements and audiences
 
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their associated posting options and audience-building capabilities
  • Up to date on the latest trends in social media, including 3rd party posting platforms and analytics, with a focus on how businesses communicate
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well on a team in a collaborative environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field – or equivalent related experience
  • Proven experience in video production, video editing, and social media post / ad creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar

  • Consumer electronics and technology knowledge and/or interest
  • Proven success with social media marketing for a business, ideally a retail organization
  • Ability to successfully act as talent in video content
