About the Role:

The Manager, Video & Programmatic Media (VPM) is a strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise-level growth across Video, Audio, and Display channels - spanning Linear TV, CTV, OLV, YouTube, Streaming Audio, and Programmatic Display. This role partners closely with clients and cross-functional teams to build integrated, full-funnel media strategies grounded inOvative'sEnterprise Marketing Return (EMR) framework.

The Manager leads day-to-day client strategy, execution, and optimization while influencing measurement evolution beyond channel-level KPIs to true business outcomes. This role also manages and develops team members, advances VPM best practices, and plays a key part in helping clients unlock profitable growth through holistic media investment.

Responsibilities of a Manager, Video and Programmatic Media include:

Media Management & Executional Leadership:

  • Lead end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization acrossLinearTV, CTV, OLV, YouTube, Streaming Audio, Podcasts, Display, and Native

  • Define clear businessobjectives, channel KPIs, audience strategies, and testing roadmaps aligned to enterprise impact

  • Own tactical execution including segmentation strategy, DSP bidding approaches (algorithmic and manual), creative coordination, trafficking oversight, and inventory management

  • Drive ongoing optimization informed by performance insights, incrementality thinking, and evolving client business needs

  • Translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations and forward-looking strategic pivots

  • Manage complex budgets and flowcharts across channels, ensuring accuracy, pacing discipline, and financial accountability

  • Maintain strong relationships with platform and media partners to unlock innovation and performance opportunities

Cross-FunctionalStrategy & Thought Leadership:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across video & programmatic channels, contributing POVs that elevate client strategy andOvativebest practices

  • Partner with paid search, paid social, SEO, analytics, and creative teams to develop integrated, full-funnel media strategies

  • Identifycross-channel synergies and incremental growth opportunities within the broader media mix

  • Collaborate with Measurement teams to align channel optimization with Enterprise Marketing Return (EMR) and holistic business outcomes

  • Proactively evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, and data solutions to advanceOvative'sVPM capabilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Own day-to-day client leadership across Video, Audio, and Programmatic channels

  • Clearly communicate strategy, performance insights, and optimization recommendations

  • Lead recurring meetings, planning sessions, and performance reviews

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders andestablishcredibility through strategic rigor and executional excellence

What we arelookingfor:

  • 5+ years of experience in Video, Audio, or Programmatic media

  • Proven hands-on experience managing campaigns across digital video (YouTube, CTV, OLV, Display)

  • 1+ year of people management experience

  • Great communicationandextensive client management experience (internal or external)

  • Sound conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience leading programs for large-scale brands including omnichannel retail brands oreCommercebusinesses

  • Experience across both traditional (Linear TV/Radio) and digital video/audio

  • Experience with tools such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads, Nielsen, SQAD, Kantar, Strata,YouGov

Pay Transparency

AtOvative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus.Actualoffers are made with consideration for relevant experience andanticipatedimpact.Additionalbenefits information is provided below.

For ourManagerpositions, our compensation ranges from $90,000to $132,000, which is inclusive of a 20% bonus.
