SPIRE Hospitality is a management company specializing in creating memorable guest experiences and delivering best-in-class service at our hotels and resorts nationwide. We ensure you have the support, tools, and opportunities to get the job done, grow as an individual, and excel in your hospitality career.

This enterprise-level in-office role in the DFW area owns the full commercial engine — revenue management, sales, marketing, distribution, and analytics — unifying them into a single, profit-driven top-line strategy. Reporting directly to Dawna Comeaux, Chief Operating Officer, this executive sets the commercial vision across the portfolio while staying close enough to the business to act on it: overseeing regional revenue managers, regional sales leaders supporting multi-property clusters, the Director of Ecommerce, and social media managers, and leading independent and group houses directly.

Beyond the portfolio, the SVP is the face of Spire Hospitality's commercial capability in the market — promoting the company as a third-party operator and acting as a trusted partner to ownership groups, brand representatives, and property-level teams.

We're looking for someone who is equal parts strategist and operator: comfortable building a total-portfolio commercial roadmap one day and getting into the weeds of a single property's funnel the next. The ideal candidate treats AI and automation not as a buzzword, but as a working toolset — constantly asking where technology can sharpen forecasting, personalize demand generation, or unlock margin that manual processes leave on the table.

Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute the comprehensive commercial strategy for the organization, aligning Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing to achieve annual revenue targets (RevPAR, ADR, EBITDA).
  • Serve as a key member of the Executive Committee, advising on asset acquisition, renovation ROI, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Lead the transition from volume-based selling to profit-based revenue optimization strategies.

Revenue Management & Distribution

  • Oversee the centralized Revenue Management function, ensuring pricing strategies are agile and data-driven.
  • Manage global distribution systems (GDS), OTA relationships, and direct booking channels to lower customer acquisition costs.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor data to forecast demand and pivot strategies proactively.
  • Direct the Sales Organization and property-level sales teams, setting aggressive goals for group, transient, and corporate negotiated segments.
  • Lead brand marketing initiatives, digital presence, and loyalty programming to drive customer retention and direct engagement.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure the "brand promise" marketed to guests is delivered on-property.

Talent & Culture

  • Mentor and develop Divisional VPs and Directors of Sales/Revenue, building a succession pipeline for future leadership.
  • Foster a culture of commercial literacy where General Managers and Operations leaders understand their role in revenue generation.
  • Partner with the People & Culture (P&C) department to design incentive plans that align commercial behaviors with company profitability goals.

Qualifications & Prerequisites

  • Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in hospitality leadership, with at least 5 years in a VP-level role overseeing multi-unit Sales, Revenue, or Marketing functions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Deep expertise in hospitality technology stacks (CRM, PMS, RMS, and CRS platforms such as Salesforce, Amadeus, UKG, or similar).
  • Competencies: Proven track record of managing complex portfolios (Select Service, Full Service, and Luxury).

We offer a comprehensive full-time benefits package consisting of medical, dental, vision, pet discount program, identity theft protection, pre-paid legal support, flexible spending accounts, matched 401K, life insurance, critical accident or illness, short- & long-term disability, paid time off, wellness programs, earned wage access, wonderful hotel discounts, and much more.
