As a Vice President, Social Media, you will lead bold, insight-driven social programs for leading healthcare and consumer health brands. You will be a senior leaders who combines strategic thinking with hands-on expertise across social, influencer, and digital communications within the health space.

As an important member of the leadership team, you'll shape client strategy, grow and mentor teams, and help guide the future of our social offering across health, wellness, and behaviour change communications.

This is a hybrid role out of our New York or Philadelphia office reporting to a Senior Vice President, Social Media.

You Will:

  • Lead strategic social media and influencer programs across multiple high-profile healthcare and consumer health accounts
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients, providing senior counsel on social strategy, digital trends, content, and platform innovation within the evolving health landscape
  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of social campaigns, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance, and measurable impact
  • Partner with creative, media, digital, and account teams to deliver integrated health communications programs
  • Lead client workshops, social training sessions, platform trend briefings, and social media best practice sessions
  • Use data, analytics, and social listening insights to shape strategy, uncover audience behaviours, and drive impactful recommendations
  • Build and mentor teams, providing strategic oversight and professional development
  • Guide new business growth through pitches, strategic proposals, and identifying opportunities across healthcare and consumer health clients
  • Guide teams and clients through issues management and reputation-sensitive situations in regulated or consumer-facing environments

You Will Bring:

  • 10+ years' experience in social media, digital communications, or influencer marketing within healthcare, wellness, pharmaceutical, or consumer health sectors
  • Deep expertise across major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and emerging channels
  • Strong understanding of healthcare communications, patient and consumer audiences, social trends, creator partnerships, and culturally relevant storytelling
  • Experience leading complex client relationships and managing integrated social programmes across multiple accounts
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance environments and approval processes
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and leading workshops, training sessions, and pitches
  • Experience using social listening and analytics tools such as Brandwatch, NetBase, Julius, or similar
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and supporting business growth
