Job Title: Assistant Vice President
Location: Cary, NC
Overview
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to design, estimate, and develop backend services using Java and the Spring framework. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience diagnosing and resolving intricate application incidents by performing root-cause analysis through log reviews, trace analysis, and debugging sessions; implementing automated monitoring and alerting systems to detect anomalies; analyzing and responding to production data changes, leveraging end-to-end application support processes, escalation protocols, and advanced support tools, including Oracle SQL for production date analysis, ServiceNow for incident management, Splunk for log analytics, Geneos for application performance monitoring, and Jira for issue tracking; ensuring system integrity and scalability by performing regular performance benchmarking, executing capacity planning, analyzing trends against projected business growth, and collaborating with the QA team to design and implement comprehensive performance and stress tests; developing and optimizing solutions using Python, C++, KDB/Q, and Java; designing accurate application configurations and executing seamless deployments by leveraging CI/CD pipelines, implementing binary assurance, maintaining comprehensive test coverage for production builds, aligning UAT environments with production standards, automating routine deployment tasks, and configuring deployments in application source code using JSON/YAML; enhancing platform reliability through proactive monitoring, critical alerting, and performance tuning. Salary range: $131,120.00 - $165,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
