Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and light commercial electrical systems. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and committed to providing outstanding customer service while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Perform repairs, installations, and upgrades on residential and light commercial electrical systems.
  • Install and replace electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and other electrical equipment.
  • Perform service upgrades, rewiring, surge protection, and generator connections.
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about findings, recommendations, and completed work.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and service reports.
  • Keep company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of residential or commercial electrical service experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required, depending on state requirements.
