Job description

We are hiring a Vice President of Engineering to lead our growing engineering team and technology strategy. This executive role will be instrumental in guiding both development on new products as well as research into future technologies and systems. The VP will bring a balanced mix of innovation, leadership, and hands-on technical depth.

Responsibilities/Skills:
  • Lead the engineering department across device development, process engineering, and production.
  • Manage the technical evolution of Sheetak's CENTUM family of thermoelectric platforms to maintain and continually improve the company's competitive positioning.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to meet design, reliability, and cost goals, with an emphasis on repeatable processes, proper documentation, and sustainable quality.
  • Ensure manufacturability and quality via SMT and semiconductor process integration; work effectively with the manufacturing team(s) on shared goals and processes.
  • Shape a dynamic, innovative, and accountable engineering culture and mentor a growing technical team.
  • Lead and direct the company's research & development in thermal management, incorporating work on new materials, fabrication methodologies, and new subsystem implementations.
  • As part of the Sheetak management team, contribute to and positively impact the company's strategy, teamwork, and growth.
