Position Summary
Storr is seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Vice President of Sales to lead and accelerate our Raleigh sales organization and surrounding markets.
This executive leadership role is responsible for driving profitable growth, developing high-performing sales teams, strengthening strategic relationships, and executing sales strategies that position Storr for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Growth & Market Strategy
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies that accelerate profitable growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and competitive advantages.
  • Lead strategic business development and major account growth initiatives.
  • Drive a consultative sales approach focused on solving customer challenges through integrated workplace solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer insights to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish and execute annual business plans.

Build & Lead a High-Performance Sales Organization
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top sales talent.

Deliver Operational Excellence & Results
  • Lead disciplined sales processes focused on pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, opportunity qualification, and win-rate improvement.
  • Utilize CRM data and analytics to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Drive performance across bookings, revenue, GP%, GP dollars, selling expense, and net income.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting rhythms that create visibility and accountability.
  • Support sales compensation and incentive strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Champion customer satisfaction and feedback initiatives.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Commercial interiors, contract furniture, manufacturing, distribution, or workplace solutions industry experience required.
  • Office furniture dealership experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with commercial real estate firms, A&D firms, contractors, and enterprise-level clients.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L leadership and margin management.
  • Knowledge of Steelcase products, workplace strategy, and integrated workplace solutions preferred.
  • Understanding of corporate, healthcare, education, and government markets preferred.
