Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking a future team member for the role of  Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) via our TSG Network team. This role is located in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ or Pittsburgh, PA,or Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • F5 Application Security Manager/Web Applications Firewall Engineer role: Engineering design, development, and integration of F5 ASM WAF policies.
  • Work with developers and application teams to enforce F5 WAF Traffic Manager Configurations.
  • Work with information security and DMZ Network engineers and enforce perimeter WAF security in a DMZ environment.
  • Be a collaborative member of a highly motivated and agile team of network load balancer engineers providing various load balancer services to critical applications.
  • To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 
  • Education/Experience requirement bullet point 1 (will be added by Recruiting as it aligns to grade level) 
  • Experienced in engineering multiple network load balancers F5 LTM, ASM and GTM platforms.  This includes engineering, installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting issues on these platforms.
  • Experienced in ASM policy, VIP creation, Wide IP creation, certificate creation and updates, SSL profile creation, pool creation, and pool member modification.
  • Provide load balancers WAF technical/architectural solutions to the team 
  • Experienced with packet capture analysis and troubleshooting and troubleshoot application layer connectivity issues with other technology teams.
  • Experience in writing and troubleshooting ASM policies and F5 iRules.
  • Provide support to development teams, partners, and other stakeholders that require the use of F5 technology.
  • Bash/Python/Ansible/Terraform Scripting is a plus
  • IRules expertise is a plus
  • Experience with F5 LTM/GTM load balancers automation is a plus
  • Experience with Azure/cloud load balancers is a plus
  •  F5 ASM Certification is a plus

    Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
