Your role at Clorox:

The Vice President, eCommerce is responsible for developing and executing Clorox's enterprise eCommerce strategy to drive sustainable growth, market share expansion, and profitable business results across digital channels.
This leader owns performance across key retailer.com customers, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, direct-to-consumer platforms, and emerging digital commerce channels. The VP, eCommerce ensures Clorox brands win with consumers across the digital shelf while advancing differentiated omnichannel capabilities that create competitive advantage.
As a transformational commercial leader, the VP, eCommerce serves as a strategic partner across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Business Units to accelerate digital transformation, modernize commercial capabilities, and position Clorox as a best-in-class digital commerce organization.

In this role, you will:

Define and Execute Enterprise eCommerce Strategy

  • Develop and lead enterprise eCommerce growth strategies aligned with corporate and Business Unit priorities.
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across marketplace platforms, omnichannel retail, direct-to-consumer, retail media, and emerging commerce models.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes to deliver profitable growth and market share gains.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into clear business priorities, performance metrics, investment choices, and execution plans.

Lead Strategic Digital Customer Partnerships

  • Own executive relationships with key digital customers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other strategic eCommerce partners.
  • Drive customer-connected planning and collaborative growth strategies that strengthen Clorox's position as a preferred growth partner.
  • Influence external stakeholders and negotiate solutions that create mutual value and long-term growth.

Accelerate Omnichannel Commercial Excellence

  • Establish and lead a customer-centric, digitally enabled omnichannel operating model.
  • Ensure integration across retail, eCommerce, media, category management, and shopper marketing strategies.
  • Drive cross-channel planning and execution to maximize customer experience, shopper conversion, and business performance.
  • Anticipate market shifts, competitive activity, and channel disruption to proactively position the business for success.

Build Organizational Capability and Lead Transformation

  • Lead the development of world-class eCommerce capabilities, including marketplace strategy, retailer media, digital shelf optimization, analytics, and commercial planning.
  • Champion large-scale transformation initiatives and change efforts to drive sustainable business results.
  • Create a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, and growth.

What we look for:

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
  • Significant experience leading eCommerce growth strategies and commercial organizations.
  • Proven track record scaling eCommerce businesses and delivering sustained, profitable growth.
  • Experience leading and developing large, high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel retail environments and cross-channel dynamics.
  • Experience developing and deploying national business plans and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading transformation, business turnaround, or large-scale change initiatives.
  • Experience managing trade investments, pricing strategies, revenue growth management, and commercial planning.
  • Fluency with Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including S&OP and S&OE processes.
  • Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of P&L management and business performance drivers.
