Job description

VICE PRESIDENT, DELIVERY || DATA CENTERS || AUSTIN, TEXAS

Our client has the capital, the land and the power access to build what most of the market is only announcing, and multiple GW campuses live across Texas to prove it.

Their US programme is scaling fast, and they need a VP, Delivery to own it.

The unusual part...

A dedicated in-house EPC firm. Engineering, procurement and construction sit alongside delivery rather than across a contract from it.

Fewer handoffs, clearer accountability, considerably faster.

What you'll own...

  • Multi-campus GW delivery across Texas, on time, on budget, ground broken to operational readiness
  • Direct partnership with in-house EPC and Engineering/Architecture leadership
  • Executive-level stakeholder ownership: you'll brief the board on the sites you're building
  • Delivery strategy, risk, compliance and best-practice standards
  • Building and mentoring cross-functional engineering, PM and ops teams

What you'll bring...

  • Substantial GW-scale data center delivery experience (non-negotiable)
  • Track record with in-house EPC partnering on large infrastructure programmes
  • Multi-campus, North America delivery at pace
  • Engineering or CS degree preferred; PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2 welcome
  • The rare ability to turn a schedule risk into a decision an exec team can act on

Applications and confidential enquiries go to Benjamin Andrzejewski, Managing Director, Umbilical Advanced, retained on this mandate.
