Position Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Delivery Director to lead multi-practice programs and projects with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills. 

The Delivery Director will be responsible for overseeing and directing the delivery of complex digital programs and projects across multiple practices such as engineering, cloud, data, CX, etc. This role requires a deep understanding of digital technologies, project management, and strategic delivery. The ideal candidate will be proficient at leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of programs aligned with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of large-scale, multi-practice digital programs and projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, budget, and timelines

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight across various digital disciplines including software development, cloud solutions, data analytics, and digital transformation

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and develop project objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements to achieve business goals

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively to minimize impact on delivery

  • Develop and implement best practices for project delivery and continuous improvement, leveraging industry standards and frameworks to enhance project outcomes

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identify opportunities for cost efficiency, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget

  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, including progress reports, status meetings, and executive briefings

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment

  • Identify further opportunities for additional work and feed those back to the organization to facilitate growth in the account(s)

Workplace: Remote, East Coast Preferred

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital consultancy or technology delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-practice programs and projects

  • Strong technical background in digital technologies, data analytics, engineering, cloud, and digital transformation

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams

  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong client management skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges and provide effective solutions
  • Familiar with modern delivery methodologies; agile, kanban, lean UX etc.
