Delivery Director

What you'll do for us

  • Manage all aspects of the project including budget, timeline, and scope

  • Proactively communicate any changes to the budget, timeline and scope

  • Creates and execute project plan

  • Revises project plan as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Identifies project resource requirements

  • Provide regular project communication and status reporting

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project including on-boarding, roll-off, compliance with all policies and procedure, security, travel expenses

  • Review invoices and ensure they are accurate and paid in a timely manner

  • Establishes strong relationship with the customer across all departments

  • Manage scope and make trade-off recommendations between scope, timeline and budget

  • Ensure the right focus and balance between tactical and strategic objectives of the project

  • Track deliverables and ensure sign-off from all agreed upon stakeholders

  • Document, monitor and mitigate risk related to all aspects of the project including scope, timelines, user acceptance, user adoption and business value

  • Work closely with the entire program team (customer, vendor, partner and o9) to create, monitor and resolve project and people issues

  • Manage project quality and assist with periodic project quality reviews

  • Work towards enhancing customer's perception of value that o9 brings to the table

  • Explore new business opportunities and develop them in close partnership with o9 Client Manager

  • Manage project escalations in a timely and effective manner

  • Generates Statements of Work and customer proposal documents for any incremental work

  • Conducts performance reviews and provide guidance, feedback, coaching, mentoring anddevelopmental experiences to junior members of the team

  • Assesses project performance and document lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge.

  • Ensures project team adheres to o9 methodologies and quality standards.

What you'll have

  • Experience: 12 or more years of professional experience managing supply chain transformation initiatives and client relationships. 12 or more years of relevant project management experience.

  • Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in supply chain, operations research, industrial engineering, production engineering, or a related field of study; Masters Preferred.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of the planning process in the retail industry particularly in customer-facing supply chain solutions with a global brand.

  • Experience with enterprise application deployment (e.g. SAS, Oracle, SAP, JDA).

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
