Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, delivery management apps, and sometimes handheld POS devices is typically required. Excellent customer service, reliability, and effective communication are standout soft skills in this position. These competencies are vital to ensure timely deliveries, customer satisfaction, and efficient route planning in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What is the work of a delivery executive?

A delivery executive is responsible for transporting goods or food from a company to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. They often use vehicles such as bikes or scooters and need good navigation skills, customer service, and knowledge of delivery routes. The role typically requires physical stamina and adherence to safety and traffic regulations.

How can I make extra money by delivering?

Delivery executives can earn extra income by taking on additional delivery shifts, working during peak hours, or signing up for multiple delivery platforms. Developing good navigation skills and maintaining a reliable schedule can help maximize earnings in this role.

What is the highest paying delivery service job?

The highest paying delivery service jobs are often those involving specialized or high-value items, such as luxury goods, pharmaceuticals, or food delivery for premium services. Additionally, independent contractors with their own vehicles and efficient routes may maximize earnings through tips and bonuses.

What are Delivery Executives?

Delivery Executives are professionals responsible for transporting goods, packages, or food from businesses to customers in a timely and safe manner. They typically work for logistics companies, e-commerce platforms, or food delivery services, ensuring that orders are picked up, handled with care, and delivered to the correct address. Delivery Executives play a crucial role in customer satisfaction by maintaining communication, adhering to delivery schedules, and sometimes handling payment transactions. In addition to driving or riding vehicles, they may also be responsible for route planning, managing delivery documentation, and addressing customer queries or concerns.

About the Role

Cyderes is looking for an experienced Service Delivery Executive to serve as the dedicated security lead for a strategic energy sector client based in Atlanta. In this dedicated role, you will be the single point of accountability for delivering managed security services. You will oversee our client relationship at the executive level and ensure the program meets commercial and operational expectations.

This is a high-visibility position that requires equal parts technical credibility, and program management rigor. You will work with our client's security leadership. This includes the CISO and senior partners. Additionally, you will coordinate multiple teams. This team will deliver outcomes across SOC operations, threat intelligence, incident response, and technology adoption. You will report to Vice President of Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Own the strategic client relationship at Director and above level, serving as the primary escalation point for all delivery, commercial, and relationship matters.

Lead programme governance across onboarding, steady state, and continuous improvement phases within a managed services model.

Drive adoption and engagement with newly deployed security technology, ensuring the client realises full value from the platform.

Manage cross-functional delivery teams with accountability across SOC operations, SIEM/SOAR, threat intelligence, and incident response workstreams.

Translate complex technical risks and security findings into clear business language for senior client stakeholders.

Identify and progress service expansion opportunities in alignment with the client's evolving needs and Cyderes' commercial objectives.

Navigate complex enterprise stakeholder environments with discretion, building trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels of the organisation.

Maintain programme health dashboards, SLA reporting, and executive-level communications on a regular cadence.

Requirement:

Broad working knowledge of cybersecurity domains including SOC operations, SIEM/SOAR platforms, threat intelligence, and incident response.

Demonstrable experience managing or leading service delivery in at least one of these domains.

Solid understanding of software feature development and adoption, with a track record of driving technology engagement in newly deployed environments.

Familiarity with the energy sector and OT/ICS security landscape (ICS/SCADA awareness), NERC CIP regulatory requirements, and relevant compliance frameworks is advantageous but not required.

Proven ability to own and grow a strategic client relationship at Director level, acting as the single point of accountability for delivery quality, escalation, and commercial health.

Experience managing cross-functional teams across technical and operational disciplines, driving accountability without direct line authority.

Demonstrated track record of leading client-facing programmes through the full lifecycle: onboarding, steady state, and continuous improvement within a managed services environment.

Confident and polished communicator capable of engaging senior security leadership—CISO, VP, Senior Director level—with credibility and authority.

Ability to translate technical risk into business language that resonates with executive audiences.

Strong relationship-building instincts with the ability to embed as a trusted advisor within a large enterprise client and navigate complex stakeholder environments with discretion.

Commercially astute with sound judgement—able to identify service expansion opportunities, manage difficult conversations, and represent Cyderes' interests while keeping the client relationship front and centre.
