Job description


Drive the development and execution of franchise strategy across Trade & Working Capital. Partner globally with Product, Sales, and Finance & Business Management to deliver growth, strengthen governance, and accelerate execution through disciplined operating rhythms and digital transformation.
As a Business & Product Delivery Executive within Trade & Working Capital (T&WC), you are responsible for driving the development, growth, implementation, and execution of business and product strategies across the T&WC franchise. This role operates as a senior strategic partner to regional and global leadership, identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution across regions and products.
The role serves as a key connector and orchestrator across Sales, Product, Technology partners (as applicable), and Finance & Business Management (F&BM), enabling delivery of innovative and tailored trade finance solutions. The position also strengthens best practices and governance by standardizing ways of working, reinforcing routines and controls, and promoting consistent execution discipline across the franchise.
Job Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and execution of key business strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and partnering with teams across the business
  • Lead high-impact strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs, from problem definition and business case development through delivery and benefits realization.
  • Partner with global and regional leadership to identify growth opportunities, optimize business planning, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Establish the franchise operating rhythm, including KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and executive review cadences to monitor progress and drive accountability.
  • Design and maintain effective governance structures for initiatives and execution, including clear decisioning forums, escalation paths, controls alignment, and documentation standards.
  • Act as a senior liaison between Sales, Product, and F&BM to align priorities, coordinate resources, and unblock delivery of client solutions and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and deliver senior-level communications and materials for leadership briefings and committees, synthesizing complex inputs into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Promote best practices and standardized ways of working across the franchise to strengthen routines, controls, and consistent execution.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in product, strategy, business management/COO, or business development roles within financial services.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed organization-driving alignment, decisioning, and delivery through to outcomes.
  • Strong capability in performance management, including defining KPIs, building management routines, and using data to drive actions and continuous improvement.
  • Strong governance, controls, and risk mindset, with experience establishing oversight structures and ensuring disciplined execution in regulated environments.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills (written and verbal), including producing senior-ready materials and influencing stakeholders with clear, structured recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with ability to assess opportunities, support business cases, and prioritize investments based on impact and feasibility.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and judgment, with comfort handling sensitive information and navigating competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while also leading through influence, building durable partnerships across regions and functions.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for market growth.
  • Demonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams while delivering value at scale.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Strong familiarity with Trade & Working Capital and adjacent transaction banking products; ability to translate client needs into scalable solutions.
  • Experience partnering closely with F&BM, including planning, forecasting, business case support, and tracking initiative value delivery.
  • Experience in program/project leadership including governance design, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation / process redesign, such as automation, workflow optimization, data/reporting modernization, or operating model enhancements.
  • Experience coordinating execution across multiple regions, establishing consistent standards while adapting to local requirements.
