About this Role

FiberTel is looking for a Vice President, for our Southern California region.

The Vice President, Southern California Region provides executive leadership for FiberTel's Outside Plant (OSP) fiber construction operations across the Southern California market. This role holds full P&L accountability for the region, including financial performance, operational execution, safety outcomes, and client satisfaction. The Vice President is accountable for driving organic growth through market expansion, new business development, and deepening existing client partnerships, while building and developing a team of directors, project managers, construction managers, and field leaders.

Pay: $175k-230k/yr, DOE.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes regional strategy in alignment with FiberTel's corporate objectives.
  • Holds full P&L responsibility for the Southern California region, including annual operating budgets, forecasts, and financial control.
  • Drives organic revenue growth through market expansion, customer acquisition, and expanded scope within existing client relationships.
  • Provides executive oversight of all regional OSP fiber construction operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as primary executive liaison for major customer accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Partners with business development to pursue new contracts and strengthen existing partnerships.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of directors, project managers, construction managers, and field leaders.
  • Assesses and communicates risk and profitability to guide project-level decision-making.
  • Champions safety as the region's top operational priority.
What You'll Bring

Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.ย 
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in telecommunications, utility construction, fiber optics, or infrastructure services, including 10+ years in senior management overseeing large-scale OSP fiber construction operations.ย 
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership at a regional or divisional level, with strong relationships across major telecom carriers, broadband providers, municipalities, or utility companies in the California market.ย
