GTE Financial is looking for a Vice President Community Financial Center Regional Manager to lead our community financial centers! We're looking for a Vice President that will lead the branches to achievesales and revenue goals, deliver an outstanding member experience, drive growth, navigate change management, andsupport their team as they help members to do more, be more, and achieve more with their money and their lives.

The Vice President CFC Regional Manager is responsible for leading a team of Managers toward the achievement of sales, service, and revenue goals. The Vice President is responsible for ensuring the optimal member experience is delivered along with being responsible for the oversight and management of branch operations, human resource, and performance management. The Vice President will be actively involved in supporting the team in targeted community activities and market involvement. The Vice President will be an active member of the community at the district level, promoting GTE Financial and the products and services we offer.

The Vice President will provide direction that is consistent and in support of GTE's Vision, Mission, and Values with a focus on strengthening GTE's brand, increasing market share and member share of wallet, and delivering the optimal member experience. The Vice President will manage to ensure the flawless execution of organizational strategies, initiatives, and changes. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace change and translate strategy into action to build commitment and enthusiasm at the branch level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership:

  • Established routine visits to CFCs to track and understand the direct market and staffing needs.
  • Establishes sales and revenue plans and objectives and manages for results by defining high expectations for their self and branch teams.
  • Leads and manages the sales and revenue planning process, adjusting plans and forecasts as required to ensure the district meets or exceeds all performance goals.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor managers and branch staff by equipping them with the sales, service, and advice skills and disciplines necessary to deliver holistic advice and guidance to our members to improve their financial health and well-being.
  • Provides strong leadership to the team to promote a culture of ongoing feedback, performance, and development discussions to enhance overall employee engagement and improve retention.
  • Routinely coach using the Integrity Coaching principles and Member Advantage philosophy, evaluate progress and provide frequent and timely feedback to the team.

Strategic:

  • Works directly with the Management Team to focus on business development opportunities in their districts. Helps GTE Financials' brand awareness and works to own the community they serve.
  • Develops and enables an engaged, capable, and confident management team to implement programs and processes focused on building deep relationships with members. Actively seeks opportunities to recognize staff and share best practices.

  • Leads and supports the successful roll-out of new products, services, and initiatives.
  • Works in close partnership with the Vice President of Branch Operations, Vice President of Business Banking, and other leaders to maximize district and branch-level opportunity across all key business drivers.
  • Develop and execute a deposit strategy to exceed growth goals in terms of deposit growth and cost of funds.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales goals and expand our member base, which includes active prospecting to build a short-term and long-term pipeline.

Operational:

  • Maintains and adheres to risk management policy and procedures, ensuring managers and teams are up-to-date and in compliance.
  • Must demonstrate functional knowledge of The Bank Secrecy Act, in addition to other Federal laws, including, but not limited to The U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and The Bank Bribery Act.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; commensurate years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum ten years of experience with at least five years of progressive management experience within a financial institution (experience in the Credit Union industry is a plus) or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proven sales management skills with a history of achieving outstanding results.
  • Ten years of prior retail bank /credit union lending experience.

Position Details:

  • Location: Downtown Tampa - GTE Headquarters
  • Department Hours:Monday- Friday (8:00 am to 6:00 pm)
  • Full-time hours are required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.

Work arrangements (in-office, hybrid, or remote) may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice if possible.

Required for Hybrid/Remote Work:

  • A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our members.
  • Must live in a location that can leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
  • Minimum upload speed 5 MB/s, preferred upload speed 25 MB/s.
  • Minimum download speed 25 MB/s, preferred download speed 50 MB/s.
  • Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements before the first day of training.
  • Hybrids - Candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to commute to and from the office location as needed regularly.
