About the role
Granite Management, LLC is seeking a Market President (MP) to provide leadership, accountability, and strategic oversight across our West Lafayette market. This role is responsible for market-level P&L ownership, team performance, and the consistent execution of Granite's operating platform.
The MP will oversee market-specific teams through regular, in-person property visits and ongoing digital engagement, while partnering closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Granite's executive leadership to improve operational performance, increase NOI, and strengthen owner confidence. This role requires a leader who embraces accountability, actively improves people and processes, and drives results through clarity, follow-through, and disciplined execution.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the MP is a key member of the Granite Leadership Team and will interact frequently with Property Owners, Investors, as well as the Granite C-Suite in support of company-wide strategic objectives.
What you'll do
Oversight
• Support all business development efforts across the West Lafayette market with support and assistance from the COO & CEO and SVP's
• Responsible for support in managing activity and output of all market-specific staff
• Development support of all monitoring, accountability, and performance metrics of all market-specific staff
• Ultimate backup and supporting authority and responsibility for all action and output of market-specific staff
• Assist in determining capacity utilization necessary to effectively perform work required across the market while limiting both over- and under-extension impacts
• Responsible for support of market-specific leasing metric management, monitoring, and accountability to the COO & CEO and SVP's as applicable
• Direct interaction with property owner clients across the market, serving as their first point of contact for account management-related inquiries and escalation support
Budget
• Assist teams in formulation of pro forma annual property and market budgets by assigned deadline each year
• Participate in annual budget review meetings with property owners across the market to develop and refine budgets
• Collaborate with executive and operations leadership to monitor both Granite market performance and applicable individual property budgets on an ongoing basis as frequently as required for effective performance
• Collaborate with leadership to address all significant budget variances and develop immediate corrective action plans
Process Development & Implementation Support and Collaboration
• Develop and support systems for market metric, reporting, and analytical processes
• Develop systems that are scalable and repeatable for the West Lafayette market (e.g. operations, expansion initiatives, franchising/licensing)
• Oversee and support vendor and subcontractor relationships across the market
• Maintain general compliance across the market from a governmental/legal, lease/contract, safety, and regulatory standpoint
• Monitor internal compliance on all technician and operational standards across the market
• Maintain all supporting digital and physical information and files in alignment with corporate standards
Qualifications
Preferred and/or Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in property management or a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
